Assistance in accurately setting up an adjustable tool rest when sharpening the skew chisel, standard scraper and negative rake scraper.
The Scraper and Skew Sharpening Gauge is used to accurately set up an adjustable tool rest when sharpening the skew chisel 44°, standard scraper 66° and a negative rake scraper 33°. You just simply place two contact points on the grinding wheel and adjust the toolrest to meet the flat surface of the gauge.
