- Robert Sorby Pro-Edge download for you to print or Robert Sorby Pro-Edge hard copy laminated chart we send to you by post. This chart has settings which will work with the pre-2018 Pro-Edge version of the Fingernail profile arm. Please note, the newer model Fingernail Profile Arm will not work with the sharpening charts, as the jig is not indexed and in a fixed position. However, the Tormek jig (SVD186-R) will work – see the attached video.
These charts will help you to identify and sharpen your tools using your sharpening jig. The recipe for Glenn’s cutting edge is clearly explained and illustrated.
Glenn recommends that you use coloured insulating (electrical) tape on the collar of the tool so that  you can quickly find the tool and match it to the instructions, and spend more time turning.
