3-day woodturning class with Glenn Lucas for Novice to Intermediate level

Aimed at people who are learning to turn. They own/have access to a woodturning lathe.

• Turning between centres (spindle turning basics)
• Bowl turning basics
• Turn a 11″ dinner plate

Skills

•Sharpening techniques using the most common jigs and sharpening systems

• perfecting turning techniques using traditional turning tools

• Design and Form

• sanding and finishing techniques

• secure chucking techniques

• wood selection and preparation

• Wood seasoning techniques

•safety in the workshop
